The Hawk Family Reunion
John Davis: A Simple Name
Lineage of my wife
My goals with this siteMy goals here are simple: to establish and portray the complete descendancies of Andrew Hawk and James Malcom, men who may both be soldiers of the American Revolution, and who both settled into eastern Georgia in the 1780's. Where necessary I will compile research and information into my own site, but where possible I want to link to sites of other descendants. Given the nature of the internet it is not necessary to duplicate work that has been done elsewhere. Please note that in my WorldConnect database I have filtered out all information on persons born after 1930; no dates or notes are shown for these people to protect the privacy of the families involved. I have done the best I can to verify the information I present here. But there are times that I mess up or get some bad info. If you find something in this data that is wrong or objectionable, please email me with your concern and/or correction. I will do my best to correct the issue to your satisfaction within a week. While virtually all the birth, marriage, death and burial information here is available from public records, I recognize that sensitive issues sometimes exist. And sometimes I do get those names wrong! I am chasing all the lines given above. Some have been researched back to Revolutionary days, some I am stumped beyond my great grandparent. I welcome all contacts on these lineages. In particular, Sarah E. (Sallie) Pullin 1880 - 1910, wife of John T. Harper of Morgan County, Georgia, is my last remaining greatgrandparent brick wall. The Connells and Brooks are giving me all the heck I can stand too.
